West County Behavioral Health Center Opens

Contra Costa Health Services recently cut the ribbon on a new mental health and addiction-treatment services center in San Pablo, CA. The Health Center will serve approximately 2,300 adults and 400 children annually.
“When we walk the path with our clients, what we realize is that helping them with food, clothing, shelter, being part of the community, living a meaningful life, is really what we’re about,” said CCHS Behavioral Health Services Director Suzanne Tavano, who was among the 150 community members at the opening ceremony. The facility officially opened March 9 at 13585 San Pablo Ave.
Designed by HED Architects, the LEED Silver building features 50-plus patient care and therapy rooms to provide integrated mental health and substance abuse treatment, including a diverse range of outpatient mental health services in nine different languages.
